Amy Duggar is an American musician who was born on September 30, 1986 as Amy Rachelle Duggar King.
King was born and raised in the state of Arkansas to a large ultra- Conservative family, the Duggars. She was born out of wedlock which became sensational news when the details emerged in the media. She grew up in the city of Fayetteville for most of her life.
Since she was a little girl, she has wanted to be a Country music singer, and in 2006, she released her first album with the artist name: Amy Jordyn. She would continue to to release music under the name and worked with producer, Jamie Scolum, who would berate her during live filming of the television show reality TV series.
A scandal with Scolum and Amy ensued after she refused to pay him for his services. After discovering that she was being payed significantly more money than previously per episode he decided to take action. He considered taking her to court.
