Barry L. Miller is an American actor. He won Broadway's 1985 Tony Award as Best Actor for his performance as 'Arnold Epstein' in Biloxi Blues. Biloxi Blues is a semi-autobiographical play by Neil Simon. It portrays the conflict of Sergeant Merwin J. Toomey and Arnold Epstein, one of many privates enlisted in the military stationed in Biloxi, Mississippi, seen through the eyes of Eugene Jerome, one of the other soldiers.
Miller was born in Los Angeles, California to Sidney Miller, an actor, director, and writer, and Iris Burton, an agent. His former stepmother is actress Dorothy Green. He attended Bancroft Junior High School, in Hollywood.
He was awarded the 1985 Antoinette Perry (Tony) Award for Best Featured Actor in a Play for "Biloxi Blues" on Broadway in New York City.
