Carole Gray - Biography
Carole Gray (born 1940 in Bulawayo, Rhodesia (today's Zimbabwe)) is a South African-born former dancer and actress who was active in Britain in the 1960s, particularly in West End musicals. She appeared in television serials , such as The Avengers. She made her film debut as Cliff Richard's girlfriend Toni in The Young Ones (1961). Thereafter she appeared mainly in horror films, such as Island of Terror (1966), Curse of the Fly, and Devils of Darkness (both 1965), and was given the nickname the "Scream Queen". She was married to Major. Douglass Cullinen, heir to the "Cullinen" Diamond.
