Patsy King - Biography
Patsy King (born in 1930) is an Australian character actress and commercial voice over. A Melbourne theatre-and-television-performer, who trained as a Shakespearean actress with the Melbourne National Theatre, she spent her early days in the United Kingdom. During the 1970s, she also appeared in many Australian television series, including: Power Without Glory; Homicide; Division 4; Hunter; Bellbird; The Sullivans; Chopper Squad; Bluey; Out of Love; Good Morning, Mr. Doubleday; The Long Arm; Adventure Island; and Play School. Her best-known role was that of Governor Erica Davidson in the cult soap opera Prisoner, a role she played from 1979 to 1983, with guest reappearances in 1984 and also touring England with the stage play.
