Rod Gist (Rodney Lee Gist) was an American actor who was born on November 11, 1947. He is known for The Lady in Red (1979), Cutter's Way (1981) and Hunter (1984).
Hunter is an American crime drama television series created by Frank Lupo, which ran on NBC from September 18, 1984 to April 26, 1991. It starred Fred Dryer as Sgt. Rick Hunter and Stepfanie Kramer as Sgt. Dee Dee McCall. The title character Sgt. Rick Hunter was a wily, physically imposing, often rule-breaking homicide detective with the Los Angeles Police Department.
The Lady in Red is a 1979 action-drama/romantic film directed by Lewis Teague and starring Pamela Sue Martin and Robert Conrad. It is an early writing effort of John Sayles who became better known as a director in the 1980s and 1990s.
