Ross Shor Lynch was born in December 29, 1995 in Littleton, CO. He is an American singer-songwriter, actor, dancer and musician. He is the lead singer of the pop rock band R5. As an actor, he is mostly known for his debut role as Austin Moon on the Disney Channel original series Austin & Ally, and for his role as Brady in Disney Channel's Teen Beach Movie series. He also has main roles in upcoming movies as Status Update and My Friend Dahmer.
Lynch was born and raised in Littleton, Colorado. He is the second youngest of five siblings (sister Rydel and brothers Riker, Rocky, and Ryland). He was educated at home starting in the fourth grade when he learned to sing and play the guitar and piano. Lynch is a second cousin of entertainers Derek Hough and Julianne Hough, their maternal grandmothers being sisters. Lynch and his family moved to Los Angeles in 2007.
In 2018, Lynch starred as Harvey Kinkle, Sabrina Spellman's boyfriend, on the Netflix TV series Chilling Adventures of Sabrina, based on the comic book series of the same name and existing in the same universe as the The CW teen-soap drama Riverdale.
