Stuart Burrell "Stu" Lantz (born July 13, 1946) is a retired American basketball player and the current television commentator for the Los Angeles Lakers of the National Basketball Association (NBA) on Time Warner Cable SportsNet. He has been the Lakers' color commentator since 1987, sharing the microphone with Chick Hearn and winning numerous awards for his work along the way. The Southern California Sports Broadcasters Association has named Lantz best radio commentator in six of the last seven years.
