Gail Stanton was born on November 19, 1954. Gail Stanton was Playboy's Playmate of the Month for June of 1978. She was also a popular model, making numerous commercials and promotional appearances, including a stint as Miss Michelob Lite in the early 1980s.
A former high school cheerleader and homecoming queen, Stanton began her modeling career when she posed nude for Playboy Magazine's April 1977 pictorial, "The Girls of the New South." She also did promotional spots for Anheuser-Busch, was Miss Michelob in the 1980s, and a public relations worker for the 1982 World's Fair in Knoxville, Tennessee.
Stanton died two days after her 42nd birthday, on November 21, 1996 of complications from a blockage to her colon.
