Valentina's passion for music and writing began at a very young age as she has always been deeply passionate towards the creation of music and the profound effect that it has always had on her and her life's vision.In 2005, Valentina wrote, co-produced, co-composed and recorded her first solo album titled "Valentina, Sacred Places" with co-producers Michael Stearns and Peter Rafelson, and co-composer Christopher Hoag."Valentina, Sacred Places", was inspired by Valentina's passion for true unconditional love, which she found with her Husband Mitch, and the art and creation of music worldwide. In writing "Sacred Places", Valentina wished to evolve together the ethereal sounds of the world that embrace the soul and inspire the intellect. An anthology that defines the quintessence of the sacrosanct and intertwines the sensual international cultures of new dance music and the vivaciousness of life itself. One of Valentina's desire's in creating this anthology was to transcend the eloquence of time and space and take her audience on a journey into the depths of their very soul, hopes, dreams, and desires. "Sacred Places" has brought many of Valentina's artistic and creative dreams to life by intertwining over 120 instruments and musicians from all across the world to create an album that unites the world via the vastly powerful and limitless channel of music.Valentina is the granddaughter of Sir Publius & Lady Epiphanya Agius and was born to Edwin & CarmenLena Agius of the Islands of Malta. A noble family to which Valentina honours with all that she is. She credits her family for her foundation, strength, courage, gentle nature, compassion, and fortitude. Valentina's families heritage has been traced back over 3500 years and she and her twin Brother, are the first, of two sets of twins, to reside in the United States of America.Valentina is married to 1984 Olympic Gold Medalist and Olympic Hall of Fame Gymnast, Mitch Gaylord, a man that she truly devotes her love, heart, soul and art to. Mitch & Valentina welcomed their first child together, a daughter, on December 26, 2008, and their second child, a son, on June 27, 2010. She is also a Stepmother to her Stepdaughter whom she loves as one of her own.After marrying her Husband on July 8, 2005, Valentina converted to Judaism with the blessing of her Family. Valentina's Family includes two Arch Bishops (Vatican City, Italy and Africa), a Bishop (Australia), and an Apostle (Islands of Malta). Valentina will always have a deep appreciation and respect for her Roman Catholic upbringing.
