Dianne Chai - Biography
Dianne Chai is an American bassist. She was one the early members of The Alley Cats.
The Alley Cats are a Los Angeles, California-based punk rock trio featuring Randy Stodola (guitar and vocals). Along with Dianne Chai (bass and vocals) and drummer John McCarthy[1], they were members of the early L.A. punk rock scene.
Both Randy and Diane were two of the nicest people in punk rock. Although many bands do trace their routes back to LA's South Bay, back in the early days of punk rock, it seemed like the South Bay was owned by the Alley Cats, The Last, and The Minutemen.
