Jerome Chen - Biography
Jerome Chen FRSC (simplified Chinese: 陈志让; traditional Chinese: 陳志讓; pinyin: Chén Zhìràng) (b. 1919 in Chengdu, Sichuan, China) is a noted Chinese historian. He was a Chinese history professor at the York University in Toronto, Ontario, Canada from 1971 to 1987. Jerome Ch'en was the director of the University of Toronto/York University Joint Centre of Asia Pacific Studies (JCAPS) from 1983 to 1985.
