Tony Briggs (born 3 July 1967) is an Australian actor, writer and producer, known for The Sapphires (2012), Cleverman (2016), Wentworth Prison (2014), Ready for This (2015), The Slap (2011), Australian Rules (2002) and Ocean Girl (1994).He was a former track and field athlete. His mother, Laurel Robinson, was a member of the real-life singing group of Aboriginal girls from Australia whose story he told, as co-writer of the screenplay, in the 2012 movie The Sapphires (2012).
