Jesús Rafael Tavárez Alcántaras (born March 26, 1971 in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic) is a former professional baseball outfielder. He played five seasons in Major League Baseball, playing mainly in center field for three different teams from 1994-1998 seasons. He also played two seasons for the Haitai Tigers of the Korea Baseball Organization. Listed at 6' 0", 170 lb., he was a switch-hitter and threw right-handed.
