Mikael Daez (born January 7, 1988) is a Filipino commercial model, Actor, News Anchor, Television Host and blogger. Daez is well known for playing a Philippine historical drama entitled Amaya alongside Marian Rivera and the remake of a hit blockbuster 1980's film "Temptation Island."
Amaya is a Philippine television drama period series broadcast by GMA Network. Directed by Mac Alejandre, it stars Marian Rivera in the title role. The series is set in the pre-colonial period of the 1500s.
Daez started his career as a commercial model in various advertisements. Later on, Daez started opening his career into acting and is currently signed unto the GMA Network in the Philippines.
Mikael Daez was born in Metro Manila to a family with eight siblings. He attended the Ateneo de Manila Loyola schools from elementary school to university, graduating with a bachelor's degree in the business management course.
