Betty Jensen, 87, went peacefully home to her waiting savior on Wednesday, March 5, 2014. She was with family and under the care of Hospice of the Red River Valley. She was born on November 9, 1926 in Breckenridge, MN to Howard and Frances (Needham) Wheeler. As she grew up, she attended school in Grand Forks and Fargo, graduating from Fargo Central High School in 1944. On December 29, 1945 she married her sweetheart, Lee Jensen and she said it was the happiest day of her life.
