Andre Rosey Brown - Biography

Andre Rosey Brown was an American actor who was born on February 7, 1956. He was an actor, known for Throw Momma from the Train (1987), Tango & Cash (1989) and Kingpin (1996).
He went to college in Montana and later became a police officer. He was on forces in Billings, Montgomery and Seattle before joining the Inglewood Police Department in California, where he served for fourteen years until retiring in 1998.

Brown's police credentials led him to security work and that led him to acting. He was doing security for Pearl Bailey's husband when someone recommended him for a screen role. From 1985 to 2002, he appeared in at least 69 television shows and movies, usually playing a security guard or burly man. His favorite role was playing himself in a Fox TV series, "413 Hope Street," which starred Richard Roundtree. The series earned critical acclaim but lasted only the 1997-1998 season.
He was married to Debra Lynn Loomis. He died on July 18, 2006 in Northridge, California, USA.
