Cindi Knight is an actress, known for Murder in Coweta County (1983) and Matt Houston (1982). She was previously married to Andy Griffith.
It is known that she began her acting career in 1982, appearing in an episode of “Matt Houston”, the series airing on ABC from 1982 to 1985, and following the titular character as he works as a private investigator in Los Angeles. Most episodes involve his friends or acquaintances being murdered or involved in other crimes.
After the death of her husband, many people assumed that the house (Roanoke Sound)where he had lived for many years on the North Carolina waterfront would be preserved as a museum or Graceland-type estate. Even Andy Griffith had mentioned earlier in 2007 that after his death, he wanted the older home to be preserved as a museum which includes items from his TV shows, along with memorabilia from his music career. But, Cindi took the permit to demolish the house, Roanoke Sound that Griffith had bought in the 1950s.
