Damir Mihanovic Cubi - Biography
Damir Mihanovic Cubi is a Croatian actor,musician and entertainer.
He is known to the general public for memorable roles in episodes on Croatian Radiotelevision (HRT) and later in episodes of the music-entertainment show Nad lipom 35 on Nova TV, which was his last role, roles in various commercials, and before that as a drummer from the Zadar band "Forum". In his music career, he stands out for the popular song "Pumpaj", released on his 1998 album "Rješenje za dobro raspoloženje" (English: Solution for Good Mood).
On 30 November 2019, during the shooting of Nova TV, he became sick and was admitted to the hospital the same night where he was diagnosed with lung cancer. At first, he was staying in the Zagreb hospital of Sestre milosrdnice, but later he was moved to hometown. On 1 January 2020, at 2:15 PM, he died at the age of 59 He was buried at Lovrinac Cemetery in Split, on 3 January 2020.
