Ferhat Cerci - Biography
Ferhat Çerçi (born 2 September 1981 in Hamm) is a German football manager and former football player. As of January 2013, he plays for Hammer SpVg. He also holds Turkish citizenship. He spent one season in the Bundesliga with Arminia Bielefeld.
In his youth, Cerci played for the Hammer SpVg and moved in 1999 in the squad of the first team. In 2001, the striker in the jersey of the LR Ahlen on 18 December 2001 made his professional debut in the 2nd Bundesliga, when he came on in the 81st minute. At the beginning of the season 2003/04 Cerci moved to SV Lippstadt 08. There, Arminia Bielefeld became aware of him and committed the striker in the following season, where he completed, among other things, his only game in the Bundesliga.
A season later he moved to Kickers Emdenbut after two years the next change already followed. This time he moved to Turkey, to Kocaelispor , where he did not play a single game. Cerci returned back to Germany and signed in January 2008, a contract with the relegation-prone Stuttgarter Kickers. After he was able to stay in the league with them, Cerci tried his luck again for two years in Turkey, this time at Eyüpspor and Tarsus İdman Yurdu before he returned to his home club.
