Kelly Farrell - Biography
Kelly was born in New Bedford, Massachusetts - which she lovingly refers to as the strangest place in the United States. Her father John Farrell worked as a mathematics teacher and her mother a special needs teacher.She started her professional career in theater at the age of 12 when she managed to con her parents into helping her pretend to be 18 so that she could audition for "summer stock" with The American Musical Theater Company. It worked out well and she happily strutted her stuff as a Kit Kat girl in Cabaret well before she was even a teenager. When Kelly wasn't busy in the theater she could be found behind her video camera making short films with any willing participants.In High School, she was honored with The Moss Hart Award (winning over both college and professional productions) for her portrayal of Eliza Doolittle in My Fair Lady. After High School, Kelly Attended Berklee College of Music in Boston as a vocal performance major where she was featured on MTV's, "The Week in Rock" as an up-and-coming vocal talent.After attending Berklee, Kelly moved to Los Angeles and though she enjoyed performing, she craved a deeper role in the filmmaking process. In 1999, Kelly began working with The TCS Productions.
