Margie Hart - Biography
Margie Hart was a burlesque dancer in New York in the early 40`s. She moved to Los Angeles in the late forties where she aquired more fame by fixing up old buildings and selling them at a profit. She became part of the Los Angeles social circuit, holding large parties at her Bel-Air house. She met John Ferraro, a former football hero, at a party in the 70`s. The two dated and she married City Councilman Ferraro in 1982. Shortly after the wedding she suffered a stroke. This did not stop her from taking part in social events. She left her wheelchair at home, relying on her husband`s arm and a cane.
