Shalini Chandran is an Indian actress who is most famous for the role of Maithili in Kahaani Ghar Ghar Kii. She is from a Tamil background.
She also starred in Hamari Betiyoon Ka Vivaah as Tanya. She also performed with Adi (Jatin Shah) in Kabhi Kabhi Pyaar Kabhi Kabhi Yaar. She was with Jatin Shah in Kahaani Ghar Ghar Kii. Adi and Maithili are the perfect Jodi for On-screen Television. She can speak Hindi fluently and a part of Tamil and full English. She does modelling and advertising and also acting.
She is known for Rishton Se Badi Pratha (2010), Kya Yahi Sach Hai (2011) and Vulture (2010). Her attachment to television can also be due to the bitter experience that she had with Bollywood before.
