Tessa Ross - Biography
Tessa Sarah Ross CBE (born 1961), is a BAFTA award winning UK film executive who is the Controller of Film and Drama at Channel 4. She is also a governor of the National Film and Television School. In 2014 she was appointed Chief Executive of the Royal National Theatre. She resigned in April 2015, stating 'It has become clear to me that the new leadership structure, with a separate Chief Executive, is not right for the NT at this time, and so I have decided to step down.' She will remain working with the National Theatre as a consultant.
