Tony Okanlawon is a Nigerian American football player who was born on March 4, 1979. Anthony A. Okanlawon is the son of Bodunrin and Toye Okanlawon and was born in Lagos, Nigeria.
A seven-game starter who also earned the starting nod in the Orange Bowl. He finished the season with five interceptions and 10 PBUs. He missed the regular season's final four games due to medical reasons.
He recorded his fourth interception of the season and had a 34-yard return on the play. He was named ACC Defensive Back of the Week for his efforts. He also made three tackles and defended a team-high four passes on the afternoon.
