Thiago Furukawa Lucas (born 10 November 1984), who goes by his pen name Yuu Kamiya (榎宮 祐 Kamiya Yū), is a Japanese-Brazilian novelist and illustrator. He worked on Takaya Kagami's light novel adaptation of A Dark Rabbit Has Seven Lives. A Dark Rabbit Has Seven Lives (いつか天魔の黒ウサギ Itsuka Tenma no Kuro Usagi, lit. The Devil's Black Rabbit of an Unknown Time) is a Japanese light novel series by Takaya Kagami, with illustrations by Japanese-Brazilian illustrator Yū Kamiya. The series includes 13 novels published by Fujimi Shobo between November 2008 and December 2013.
In 2013, he then worked on writing and illustrating his own light novel series No Game No Life which has been adapted into anime, was listed as one of the top-selling light novels in 2014 and was one of ten light novel series to receive a Yomiuri Shimbun Sugoi Japan Award. No Game No Life (Japanese: ノーゲーム・ノーライフ Hepburn: Nō Gēmu Nō Raifu) is a Japanese light novel series by Yū Kamiya. It is published under the MF Bunko J imprint with nine novels released between April 25, 2012, and August 25, 2016. The author and his wife, Mashiro Hiiragi, adapted the novels into a manga series for Monthly Comic Alive in 2013. Later that year, an anime adaptation of No Game No Life by Madhouse was announced.

In 2015, his newer light novel and manga series Clockwork Planet was greenlit for an anime adaptation. Clockwork Planet (クロックワーク・プラネット Kurokkuwāku Puranetto) is a Japanese light novel series, written by Yuu Kamiya and Tsubaki Himana, and illustrated by Shino. Kodansha has published four volumes since April 2, 2013 under their Kodansha Ranobe Bunko imprint. The story is set in a clockpunk fantasy version of the world, in which the entire planet is run by clockwork.
In 2011, he married Mashiro Hiiragi, who would work on the manga adaptation of No Game No Life.
