Buddy Lembek - Biography
Buddy Lembek (Andre Hyland) is a street artist and filmmaker. Hyland's films and live performances are a regular fixture at Los Angeles' alternative comedy venues.
He's also created and starred in two television pilots one of which was co-created with Bob Odenkirk. Often under the tag name Buddy Lembek, Hyland's fine art and graffiti work has been included in exhibitions at London's Institute of Contemporary Art, MASS MoCA, and Publico in association with Cincinnati's CAC.
In 2019 Hyland returned to the Sundance Film Festival with multiple projects. He was a lead in the A24 feature "The Death of Dick Long", and also premiered his third directorial Sundance film "Old Haunt", in which he both wrote and starred in, like his previous films, "Funnel" (2014) and his feature film "The 4th" (2016).
