Catharina Maria Louise Nyqvist Ehrnrooth (née Ehrnrooth, born April 1, 1969 in Espoo, Finland, is a Finnish-Swedish scenographer and production designer.After secondary school in Finland, Catharina Nyqvist Ehrnrooth came to Sweden for education at the Dramatic Institute and Stockholm University . She has worked with TV and film productions such as The Company (1992), 8-Piece Life (2002), Queen Victory (2010-2011) and Coachers (2012).Nyqvist Ehrnrooth is the daughter of Johan Ehrnrooth and Kristel Airas. She was married to actor Michael Nyqvist from 1990 to his death in 2017. They got two children together: a daughter, Ellen (born 1991), and a son, Arthur (born 1996).
