Christopher Paul Gimenez (/ˈdʒɪmɨnɛz/ JIM-ə-nez; born December 27, 1982) is an American professional baseball catcher for the Texas Rangers of Major League Baseball (MLB). He has also played in MLB for the Cleveland Indians, Seattle Mariners and Tampa Bay Rays. Gimenez has played every position except for center field and shortstop throughout his career.
