Born in Montreal, Canada on October 18, 1984 to German parents, she spent her childhood and teenage years in Canada but traveled frequently to Europe. After falling in love with Italy, she re-located to Rome and in 2006 began a film and television career there, working for RAI, Mediaset, and various film production companies. She gained celebrity quickly in Italy playing a comedic blonde bombshell, but homesickness prompted her return to North America in 2009. Shortly after returning to Canada she got a principal role in American Pie Presents: The Book of Love. After that she landed commercials and feature films as well as television movies for channels like SyFy and HBO. She has been living and working steadily in Los Angeles since 2010.
