Faidon Georgitsis is a Greek actor who was born on January 21, 1939.
He was a popular actor of Greek cinema. He starred in many films, 13 of which were produced by Finos Film. He was also one of the main protagonists of Greek theatre. He is an actor and director, known for The Apostate (1973), Oi ehthroi (1965) and Proud Eagles (1971).
Together with his second wife they had created their own theatrical troupe, in the city of Koropi, near Athens.
He died on 1 March 2019, after a battle with brain cancer.
