She grew up in Liberia , then settled in France in the early 1970s . Adolescent, she knows her first experiences as an actor by participating in radio productions for RFI and France culture . In 1986, the general public discovered it in the film Black Mic-Mac of Thomas Gilou , of which she plays one of the principal roles. In the years that followed, however, she did most of her career in theater. In 2008, François Dupeyron called on her to star in the film Aide-toi, le ciel t'aidera 2 .She was named Knight in the Order of Arts and Letters in January 2010
