Jon Donahue - Biography
Jon was born and raised in Binghamton, NY, where he was a professional on-camera entertainment reporter for for a CBS news affiliate. He moved to Los Angeles in 1999 to pursue an acting career. To help pay bills, he attended an open casting call and landed a job as a studio guide at the world famous Universal Studios Hollywood tram tour. He was also a projectionist at the Grauman's Chinese Theatre in Hollywood. Jon studied his craft at the award-winning Playhouse West in North Hollywood, which was founded by actors Robert Carnegie and Jeff Goldblum. He also trained with actress Dee Wallace Stone at her studio in Burbank, and at the Upright Citizens Brigade in Los Angeles. Over the years, Jon has worked with some of the biggest names in the industry; including Tom Hanks, Mike Nichols, Steven Spielberg and Ron Howard. He is also a successful voice-over artist, having lent his talent to two Walt Disney features.
