Julio César Meza - Biography
Julio César Meza (born in Cartagena de indias, Colombia in 1983) also known as Julio Meza is a Colombian singer. In 2005, he won the first ever Colombian edition of The X Factor entitled El factor X broadcast on RCN TV. He went platinum with his first release after winning El factor X.
After leaving Cartagena he went to live in the city of Riohacha where he developed all kinds of activities and in the hands of Tony Márquez his mentor, studied and listened to other genres such as R&B, Soul and Jazz where he is now more inclined. At age 25 he arrived in Bogotá to participate in the X Factor, where he managed to be the winner of this great contest in 2005.
After over three months in which he faced more than 45 thousand people who, with their voices and acts, sought to achieve a place in the program, he finally reached the final where he competed with Farina, another of the strong contenders for the title. In the end after singing his composition you made me suffer , Julio was chosen as the winner according to the votes of thousands of Colombians.
