Serbian mezzo-soprano / contralto Katarina Bradić first sprang to international attention during the season 2009/2010 as a member of the Vlaamse Opera, where her most important assignments were Olga in Jevgenij Onegin, Suzuki in Madama Butterfly and Medea in Cavalli’s Giasone. In summer 2010 she made her acclaimed role debut as Carmen at the Klosterneuburg Festival, a role she subsequently repeated in Tallinn, Erfurt as well as in Berlin (Komische Oper) and that in 2015 will lead her to Oslo Opera in a new production by Calixto Bieito.For more go to
