Krista Eileen Arrieta Kleiner (born June 12, 1989, in Orange County, California), better known as Krista K, is an American singer, songwriter and actress. She was born and raised in Orange County, California. Half American and half Filipino, she moved to the Philippines at the age of 18 when she was offered a major TV Network contract. There she explored different on-air jobs hosting, acting, and performing on variety shows.In 2010, Krista won the main title of Miss Philippines International 2010 and also bagged the Miss Talent and Best in Swimsuit Award.Less than a month later, Krista was selected by international balladeer singer Julio Iglesias (who had been holding global auditions) to join the rest of his 2010/2011 world tour.After touring with Julio Iglesias, Krista decided to begin her mission to produce an album and discover herself as a singer and writer. After two years of hard work, she completed an album meant for the Philippines market and presented it to a few labels. It consisted of 14 tracks- 11 English and 3 Tagalog, all of which she either wrote or co-wrote.Krista signed with Universal Records in the Philippines & Warner Music for Malaysia, Singapore and Brunei for distribution of her self-produced debut album released earlier this year. Since its release in the Philippines, the debut single "Feels So Good", written by Krista, debuted on the charts at number two.An exciting performance with Craig David and Taboo of the Black Eyed Peas is what launched her as a singer/ performer last April 30, 2013. Since this show, Krista K has began performing high energy sets at music festivals and top clubs regionally in Asia.Recent bookings include We Love Asia (with Pitbull & DJ Antoinne), 1 World Music Festival (with Snoop Dogg, Moby, Far East Movement etc), and Warrior concert with Kesha.An exciting performance with Craig David and Taboo of the Black Eyed Peas is what launched her as a singer/ performer last April 30, 2013. Since this show, Krista K has been performing lthroughout Asia working with international DJs.She is currently being mentored by Taboo of the Black Eyed Peas and their team of other international producers and artists in creating songs to be released internationally in 2014.On 4 November 2013, Krista married the Australian internet and new media entrepreneur Patrick Grove.
