Madelief Vermeulen - Biography
Madelief Vermeulen is an actress, known for Eep! (2010). Madelief was born and raised in Utrecht, the Netherlands, where she lives with her parents and younger sister. Madelief is a happy, social individual who comes from an athletic family. Her mother practices ballet while her father likes playing field hockey, squash and is a competitive cyclist. Madelief’s two year younger sister, Elsemijn, is also a very fanatic field hockey player.
Madelief’s ambitions for going abroad and playing hockey are highly encouraged by her parents, especially by her father who previously worked three years in Canada.
Madelief started playing field hockey for hockey club Kampong at the age of 6. With 3232 members and nine hockey-fields, Kampong is the largest field hockey club of the Netherlands. Madelief’s age -group (15-17 years) contains 10 teams. The first three teams are selection teams which means that coaches and trainers pay extra attention to those teams.
