Making her way from behind the scenes and into the spotlight, Morgan Hoffman is the newest co-host of INNERSPACE.The eldest of five children, Morgan discovered her love of television and film at a young age while growing up in a sci-fi loving household in Whitby, Ontario. A self-proclaimed “theatre geek,” Morgan set her sights on the stage and was accepted into the prestigious Shakespeare School at the Stratford Festival to study Musical Theatre after high school.After graduating from Seneca College’s Broadcast Journalism program in 2010, Morgan landed her first on-air gig as host of the lifestyle programs DURHAM DINING, and MY COMMUNITY IS DURHAM on Rogers Cable, interviewing local residents with extraordinary stories. In September 2011, Morgan received the job opportunity to become a floor director on ETALK and INNERSPACE, and later CP24’s ANIMAL HOUSE CALLS. After filling in as a guest host on INNERSPACE in April 2013, Morgan’s fun and quirky personality wowed producers and she was awarded the full-time gig co-hosting INNERSPACE alongside Ajay Fry and Teddy Wilson. Since joining INNERSPACE in April, Morgan has already interviewed an impressive list of genre heavy-weights including John Cho, Mireille Enos, James Badge Dale, and legendary Producer/Director, Guillermo del Toro.As INNERSPACE’s resident movie buff, Morgan often finds herself lost in movie marathons ranging from Tim Burton to Harry Potter to Hitchc*ck; Vertigo being her number #1 fave. When she’s not binge-watching some of her favourite flicks, Morgan can be found hunting for second hand treasures at thrift stores (adding to her good luck charm collection of Treasure Trolls) ̶ or maximizing her knowledge of Astrology by trying to guess strangers zodiac signs.
