Roger Torrey - Biography

Roger Torrey was born on May 9, 1938 in Pocatello, Idaho, USA as Roger Pugmire. He was an actor, known for The Beverly Hillbillies (1962), Mannix (1967) and Everglades (1961).
Seen on many television shows from the 1960s through the 1980s. Perhaps best known for his recurring role on "The Beverly Hillbillies" as Mark Templeton, Elly May's frogman boyfriend. He was the producers' original choice to portray Jethro Bodine on that show before losing the role to Max Baer, Jr. He also appeared in numerous episodes of "The Iron Horse," "Gunsmoke" and "The Dukes of Hazzard" teleseries.

He was married to Jean Sanders. He died on December 17, 1985 in Los Angeles County, California, USA.
