An actress, singer and voice-over performer, Sally Winters may currently be best-known for her work on last year's "Funny or Die" viral video, Warning of Warcraft. (Yup, that's her in the pink eyelashes.) A graduate of Smith College and the Eugene O'Neill Theatre Center's National Theatre Institute, Sally began her professional career at Vermont's Weston Playhouse, in shows such as Gypsy, A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum and Me and My Girl. In New York, appearances include roles at City Center, the American Globe Theatre, the Promenade and the Grove Street Playhouse; regionally, theatre roles As You Like It, Comedy of Errors, Grease and On Golden Pond. She has toured the country with Theatreworks/USA, starred in the short film, Bug (winning a Best Actress Award at the Pasadena Method Festival and ending up on the small screens of numerous cross-country Delta flights), and made appearances both physical and vocal in skits on Late Night with Conan O'Brien, Saturday Night Live and The Onion TV.As a voice over performer, she has been heard on literally hundreds of commercials, narrations and promotional announcements. Formerly the host/voice of WNBA Action!, she can currently be heard as the female voice of Good Morning America and the person talking very fast about legal issues at the end of the Capital One radio spots; she can also been heard as various characters on Boardwalk Empire, Nurse Jackie and Bored to Death. One of Sally's proudest moments in theatre came last spring, when she was asked to be the "Voice Of God" Live Announcer at the Actors' Fund Benefit for the Phyllis Newman Women' Health Initiative: an great cause and an incredible honor. (Thank you, everyone at the Actors' Fund!)A true Jersey Girl, Sally was first cast by Billy and Jane straight out of college (Infidelities) and she has since been privileged to perform in numerous shows with them; among her favorites are A Night at the Nutcracker, What the Rabbi Saw, Confessions of a Dirty Blonde and Merrily We Dance and Sing. She thanks Billy and Jane for giving her some of the best moments of her life and career, she is grateful for the encouragement of her classmates from Fordham University School of Law (go Rams!) and her wonderful CT support system, and most of all she thanks her family for their patience and love: L,A&P;, this one's for you.
