Satara Silver - Biography
Satara Silver was an American actress who was born on June 11, 1987. She enjoyed indie films thus often working with smaller film companies like Fire Fuel, but also larger companies like Troma. Satara did enjoy the filmmaking process thus also working on Being Mary Jane, BET., with Tyler Perry on many shows or to full scale studios such as Universal. Satara produced a PSA for Green Energy with Kevin Richardson at 13, played soccer for the US, as well. Satara did several commercials, music videos and work on Broadway while attending AMDA, at 16.
Satara went to Hollywood at 18 for directing, and sadly was abducted by human traffickers at 22. She fought, became a strong advocate for Mayor Berke in an attempt to reduce criminality and re-victimization of victims that leads to mental issues increasing the survivors risks, attacks by their captors and death if not sold. On February 04, 2017 Satara died as direct result of complications as victim to Human Trafficking. Sataras' goal to end slavery will continue through a foundation, and as a mitzvah for a Jewish library donations may go to Chabad of Chattanooga, Chattanooga TN 37403 care of Rabbi Perlstein. Judaism was Sataras' strength helping her survive years of torture and slavery.
Satara will be heavily missed by anyone who knew her. She was more than what superficial media reports ever made her out to be. She was incredibly intelligent. She was compassionate. She was driven by that intelligence and compassion to be involved in politics -- and her love of the arts fueled her ambition to be an actress. She was a multi-faceted person who shone as brightly as any star could.
