Simon RoseSimon Rose is known for his work on Star Wars: Episode III - Revenge of the Sith (2005), The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug (2013) and Black Hawk Down (2001).Since 1983 Simon has wanted to make film special effects, and in 1994 he succeeded in taking his first step in the profession at the prestigious Jim Hensons Creature Shop.My love of art, science and technology plays a significant role in my style and approach to the effects I design, not many careers such as mine can fulfill all of ones interests in one go!The creative process is influenced by those passions, Influencing some quite unique effects. My passion for computer technology, engineering, mould design, mechanics, material science combined with the love of art, sculpture and colour is true perfect marriage in the effects universe.Nominated for Best Makeup and Prosthetics : Sons of Liberty 2016
