Trained at the University of Music and Performing Arts in Vienna, she appeared in more than 100 classic plays by authors like Shakespeare, Coward and Chekhov. A versatile actress, she excelled at both serious drama and boulevard-style comedy. She was a long-standing member of the Theater in der Josefstadt. In films, she acted opposite stars like Curd Juergens, Hans Moser and O.W. Fischer.
