ARTIST AND ACTIVISTAngela Reid is an elected City Councillor in the City of Kelowna and the former Deputy Leader for the Green Party of British Columbia, a position she held from 2007 to 2009. Angela was elected to the Green Party of Canada Federal Council in 2006, where she served for two years, and is the CEO of the Kelowna Federal Green Party. She has run for the Green Party in five elections, two provincial and three federal. Angela is also a co-founder of the Okanagan Greens, a non-profit, non-partisan society focused on enhancing the local quality of life.
