Son of Sardar Malek, Anu Malik made his debut as a music composer in 1977. In the 1990s he wrote hits for films like Phir Teri Kahani Yaad Aayee, Baazigar, and Jaanam.Anu Malik trained in music under his and made his debut in Hindi films in the year 1977 with the film Hunterwali.
