Blaine Grunewald - Biography
Blaine Grunewald is a Canadian business person. Blaine is a former English language teacher and lawyer who worked for Neil Bush for a few months in the mid 2000s.
He is also famous because being Yuan Li's former husband. Yuan Li (Chinese: 袁立; pinyin: Yuán Lì; born 12 July 1973), sometimes called "China's Audrey Hepburn" or "China's Mother Teresa", is a Chinese actress.[1][2] She has won the China Golden Eagle Award for Best Supporting Actress and Hundred Flowers Award for Best Supporting Actress.
In an interview, Yuan Li warned Chinese women who plan on choosing a foreign husband that they should prepare for a life of pain and suffering. While known to be a private person, she opened up about her marriage with her third husband, Lehman Bush CEO Blaine Grunewald in 2011. Yuan revealed that her marriage to the Canadian served as a learning experience because of the alleged pain she had to endure with him.
She explained that through years of adjustment and tolerance, she and her husband had already reached an understanding and have come to terms with their cultural differences. Although it is quite apparent how she does not think too highly of their relationship overall, noting that she “can’t say it’s especially good or bad.”
