Daryle Ward - Biography
Daryle Lamar Ward (born June 27, 1975) is an American professional baseball first baseman and outfielder who is currently an Infielder for The Sugar Land Skeeters. He played in Major League Baseball (MLB) from 1998-2008 for the Houston Astros, Los Angeles Dodgers, Pittsburgh Pirates, Washington Nationals, Atlanta Braves and Chicago Cubs. He bats and throws left-handed. The 6-foot-2, 240 pound (109 kg) Ward was drafted by the Detroit Tigers in the 1994 amateur draft. He is the son of former major leaguer Gary Ward.
