Dudukhana Tserodze - Biography
Leading star of Georgian and Soviet films. Studied at film school of Sakhkinmretsvi [ge]. Debut in Last Masquarade (Ukanaskneli maskaradi (1934)) by Mikheil Chiaureli. Breakthrough in Lost Paradise (Dakarguli samotkhe (1938)) by Davit Rondeli. Although she played major female roles she was overshadowed by Nato Vachnadze and later by Tamari Tsitsishvili and Medea Djaparidze. One of her most important roles was in Magdanas lurja (1958) by Abuladze and Chkheidze.
