Already as a child she took minor roles in DEFA film productions under the direction of her father. B. In the Life of a Good-for-Nothing (1973), Cancellation to Viktoria (1977) and Zauber um Zinnober (1983).
From 1985 to 1995 (ep. 1-521) Ina Bleiweiß embodied the role of "Marion Beimer" in the series Lindenstraße, before her role was refilled by Ulrike C. Tscharre.
