James taught Pre-School Special ED for the Los Angeles Unified School District in 2001. Jonah was a student in his classroom. The Runcorn family adopted Jonah in January 2004.Good friends with Paul DannerHe served at Arlington National Cemetery in the United States Army Honor Guard. He performed in hundreds of full honor military funerals, carrying the caskets, folding the flags but primarily as one of the "21 gun salute" 7 man firing parties.
