Jessica Mas - Biography
Jessica Mas is a Puerto Rican actress, model who was born on December 5, 1976. She is known for El Pantera (2007), Palabra de mujer (2007) and El Fantasma de Elena (2010). El Fantasma de Elena (Elena's Ghost) is a Spanish-language telenovela produced by the American television network Telemundo. It is a remake of the 1983 Venezuelan telenovela Julia. The telenovela ran for 117 episodes from July 20, 2010 to January 7, 2011. It was broadcast with English translation subtitles in CC3.
Originally from Puerto Rico, Jessica Mas grew up with the illusion of becoming a journalist, so she studied Communication Sciences at the University of her native Puerto Rico. But in the moments that the books left him free he began to turn his attention towards interpretation. Little by little the idea grew in her to park journalism to concentrate on the attempt to emerge as a professional interpreter.
She studied dramatic art at the behest of Mexican actress Adriana Barraza and at the CEA academy owned by the television channel Televisa, to later start working on the small screen. She debuted in the sitcom "The cafeteria always open", but her true consecration came in 2008, coinciding with her debut in the cinema in the film by Carlos Cuarón "Rudo y cursi".
